InterMotion Corporate Fitness was founded with the belief that many Americans can steadily improve their health and occupational productivity through the implementation of a safe, practical approach to fitness training. At InterMotion, we provide the guidance, motivation, and individual attention necessary so that all individuals using our programs can become healthier and more energetic.
The key to a successful exercise program is consistency. Our personal trainers are experienced in developing efficient workouts that will not overwhelm the participants, while at the same time allow them to achieve challenging fitness goals. These programs are developed with a strict philosophy to avoid extreme diets, the use of "quick fix" weight loss programs, or unusual exercise equipment.
InterMotion Trainers come to our organization with the education and experience to work with individuals at all levels of physical fitness. Our trainers have surpassed a stringent set of selection standards to become InterMotion Trainers. All InterMotion Trainers are required to have a Bachelors Degree program in a health and fitness related field.
Additionally they must maintain National Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Athletic Training Association, or the American Council on Exercise.
Our services are built on the foundation that a partnership with the Trainers of InterMotion Fitness will insure that You and your members receive sound, safe, and successful guidance as they achieve their fitness goals. We look forward to the opportunity to help you improve your competitive edge.
We understand that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. Our goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes apart of who you are and your lifestyle. We strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle.
ALL EMPLOYEES ARE INCLUDED
Educational materials and other forms of exposure to fitness and healthy lifestyle should be made available to all employees, not only those formally participating in an InterMotion fitness program.
HEALTH & FITNESS NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Prior to initiating a corporate-sponsored fitness program, all participants should have the opportunity to receive a personal health screening by professionally trained InterMotion personnel.
HIGH PARTICIPATION
InterMotion programs target a high level of employee participation by clearly stating the focus of the program as voluntary, confidential, long-term, and able to provide something for everyone.
FLEXIBLE & ADAPTABLE
Every firm has its own unique corporate culture. InterMotion strives to understand and respect your particular work environment in developing a flexible program your employees can utilize.
ONGOING MOTIVATION & CONTACT
Many times, the most difficult aspect of regular exercise is not getting started with a program, but staying committed to it. The individual guidance, support and motivation provided by InterMotion Trainers will for many create an environment where they can succeed for the first time.
REALISTIC OBJECTIVES
InterMotion Trainers work closely with program participants to develope fitness goals that are attainable as well as challenging. Our goal is to provide an environment where participants can truly feel the personal satisfaction of accomplishing their fitness goals.
COMMUNICATION & MANAGEMENT
We believe that our programs are the most successful when comprised of active involvement by management. InterMotion will strive on a continual basis to understand management's expectations and objectives, as well as provide regular feedback and success reports.
Although InterMotion Corporate Fitness is committed to providing tremendous flexibility in developing private, customized fitness promotion programming, our program services are typically comprised of three components: We understand that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. In today’s increasingly demanding and competitive business environment, promoting a healthy workforce not only is beneficial to your employee’s well-being, it provides you with a distinct competitive advantage. Many of us are challenged to become more efficient and effective at our work than in years past. Unfortunately, to cope with the time constraints of longer and more stressful working hours, family commitments, and other activities, a significant percentage of your employees are juggling their schedules at the expense of a regular exercise program.

Among the primary benefits of a fit and healthy workforce are increased productivity, lower absenteeism, higher morale, and lower health care costs

Among the primary benefits of a fit and healthy workforce are increased productivity, lower absenteeism, higher morale, and lower health care costs
INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
As the American business community continues to streamline operations, worker productivity becomes more crucial to corporate success. Worksite fitness programs enhance employee effectiveness providing a competitive edge.
A NASA study reported that employees who participated in regular exercise worked at full efficiency for the entire day, while average employees lost 50% efficiency for the final two hours. Participants also demonstrated increased concentration and decision-making abilities.
Dallas Police noted a 39% increase in commendations after a fitness-lifestyle program was introduced to officers.
LOWER ABSENTEEISM
Fitness promotion programs are associated with a reduction in costly employee absenteeism. Healthier and more motivated employees spend a far greater number of productive hours at work each year.
DuPont reduced absenteeism by 47.5% over 6 years when 29,315 blue-collar employees enrolled in a fitness program at 4 sites.
General Mills calculated that a reduction in absenteeism resulted in a payback of over $3 for each dollar spent on its health promotion program.
HIGHER MORALE
One of the primary benefits of regular exercise is the reduction in symptoms of anxiety and depression. Exercise fosters an improvement in mood and feelings of well-being.
A Johnson & Johnson study found that employee attitude changes were greater at health promotion worksites with significant positive attitude changes noted in the categories of organizational commitment, supervision, working conditions, job security, and compensation.
LOWER HEALTH CARE COSTS
The increasing costs of providing employee medical care has eroded profits in all industries. Overwhelming evidence in the medical community now supports the benefits of preventative care such as regular exercise in combating these escalating costs.
General Electric’s 18-month study of fitness program members showed a 38% decrease in health care spending versus a 21% increase in costs for non-participants.
A study of Steel case employees reported 55% lower annual health care claims for fitness program participants.
With a personal trainer you receive the motivation and maximum benefit from your limited workout time; enabling you to reach your full potential.
